We had the privilege to be backstage to catch an exclusive view of this cool brand. We felt like doing music photo journalism.

Being backstage is a great experience, you can witness moments that are very important for the people involved. You see the excitement of the designers, bored models waiting for the runway, the rush of  hair and make-up stylist working non stop and the coming and going of  the people in charge of  runway coordination.

Before you take a look at this set of pictures, I got to tell you: JUAN™ filled all the expectations with the  fashion show.

Again, for us at //SLANG  it`s a joy  to do this exclusive coverage with this leading brand of the local fashion industry.

JUAN™  is the work of  Viviana and Gustavo Lozano, two brothers making fashion history in Colombia, the styling of the show was made by Aysha Bilgrami; a great team of talented and fun people to be around.

Circulo de la Moda de Bogota

Fall / Winter 2012-13

From May 9th to 12th 2012. 

Bogota is celebrating fashion, showcasing young and traditional fashion designers from Colombia. With a new runway location in the city, at Parque de la 93, Bogota witness the rise of a local friend and upcoming star in the fashion industry.

I`m talking about KIKA VARGAS, if you have the privilege of knowing her, you`ll find one of the sweetest persons you`ll ever meet, and besides that comes the talent, at Circulo de la Moda de Bogota she presented a stunning collection full with color, elegance, sophistication and a little touch of rock n` roll in studded gloves.

Let`s keep it clear I love models! and yes the models that KIKA chose where one of the best from Colombia, glad to see that some of those amazing models that walked the walk, have appear in previous posts and fashion editorials of ours.

Another major hit by KIKA was the music she selected for the fashion show, and the spotless styling by Cata Zuluaga. Is such a joy to see the people you respect an know to have a Killer Night!

For the first time Soler StudioHub open its doors on a restored house from the fifties. Soler is building a network  where artists, galleries, brands and institutions will generate a social change thought plastic art.
